Tip- Dallas laid a goose egg a week ago vs. Indianapolis. Dak Prescott has thrown just three touchdowns to three interceptions over his last two contests. Since Jameis Winston was reinserted into the Buc’s starting lineup, his TD-INT ratio sits at an impressive 6-2. During that span Tampa’s defense has also stepped up, holding opponents under 21 points in three of the past four games. Dallas will win, but not by 7+ points.

Min Vikings (-6) at DET Lions (+6)

Tip – The Vikings committed to the run game last week, and it paid dividends. Dalvin Cook and Latavius Murray combined for 204 rushing yards and three touchdowns vs. Miami. Unfortunately for Minnesota they will likely struggle to find the same success against a Lions defense that has been stellar against the run since the acquisition of Snacks Harrison. The Vikes’ won big a week ago, but that seems much more like an outlier than a trend that will continue.

ATL Falcons (-2.5) at CAR Panthers (+2.5)

Tip – With no possibilities of making the playoffs, Carolina decided shut down Cam Newton for the season. Meaning Taylor Heiniche will be calling the shots come Sunday for the Panthers. Falcons defense played their best game of the season a week ago vs. Arizona. Atlanta forced three turnovers, registered seven sacks, and held the Cardinals under 255 total yards. Not good news for a QB in Heiniche making his first career start come Sunday.

GB Packers (-2.5) at NY Jets (+2.5)

NY JetsNY Jets (+2.5)

Tip – The Jets impressed a week ago, albeit in a loss to the Texans. Sam Darnold’s return to the starting lineup has rejuvenated the Jets team as a whole. Green Bay will be without their best running back, Aaron Jones, and should probably shut Aaron Rodgers down for the season. The Jets have a great chance of stealing a “W” in this one. The Jets are playing for the future, while the Packers are just passing the time till the offseason begins.

NY Giants (+9) at IND Colts (-9)

IND ColtsIND Colts (-9)

Tip – The Colts shutout Dallas a week ago, and get a matchup with the ‘Boys’ fellow NFC East mates, the NY Giants, this week. New York has already ruled out Odell Beckham for a third consecutive game. Yet, nine points is a lot to give to any NFL team. The G-Men will rely heavy on Saquon Barkley, and Evan Engram, who has re-emerged since Odell’s injury. Excluding last week’s shutout, the Colts haven’t won a game by 3+ points in three games.

CHI Bears (-4) at SF 49ers (+4)

CHI BearsCHI Bears (-4

SF 49ersSF 49ers (+4)

Tip – Mitchell Trubisky has not looked like himself since returning from injury. The Bears have made a pattern out of escaping in closely contested matchups. This game will likely be no different, as San Francisco, winners of two in a row, are a sneaky good team. Chicago’s defense will likely keep them from losing this game, but the ‘9ers will probably take the Bears down to the wire.
