CHI Bears -4.5 |NY Giants +4.5

Tip The Giants fumbled a huge opportunity by crumbling at the hands of the Eagles last week. Theoretically they are still in the playoff hunt, although it looks very bleak at the moment. On the other side of the field, Chicago won a divisional game with a backup QB last week. It was previously believed that Mitchell Trubisky’s injury was a one-week thing. It is now known that he still has yet to be cleared to throw, and is unlikely to play on Sunday. Still, Chicago should win this game, but the Giants have been pesky of late. Their last three games have had an averaged 3.3 score differential, expect this game to be no different.

CLE Browns (+6.5) at HOU Texans (-6.5)

HOU TexansHOU Texans

CLE Browns+6.5 |HOU Texans-6.5

Tip – Who would have thought it? The Browns are a better football team without Hue Jackson on their sidelines. They proved that a week ago, with Hue watching from the opposition’s sideline, as Baker tossed four touchdown passes and saved his best play for his post game stiff arm of a Hue Jackson attempted hug. Houston is the first team in NFL history to win eight straight games after starting a season 0-3. Yet, DeShaun Watson has not thrown for 300 yards since week 5 of this season. Baker and company have averaged 31.5 points during their two game win streak, and should easily stay within 6.5 points of Houston come Sunday.

DEN Broncos (-4) at CIN Bengals (+4)

CIN BengalsCIN Bengals

DEN Broncos-4 | CIN Bengals+4

Tip – The Broncos have beaten two of the AFC’s best in the past two games, handing both the Chargers and Steelers their third losses on the season. Phillip Lindsay has averaged an outstanding 5.8 ypc, and should see that number grow against a Bengals defense who surrendered nearly seven ypc against Gus Edwards two weeks ago. The Bengals will also be without their QB Andy Dalton, although this may be a blessing in disguise. Jeff Driskel will move the ball with his feet, and do enough through the air to keep the defense honest. Denver should win the game, but their formula of victory should help Cinci stay within four points.

BAL Ravens (+1.5) at ATL Falcons (-1.5)

 BAL Ravens BAL Ravens

ATL FalconsATL Falcons

BAL Ravens +1.5 | ATL Falcons -1.5

Tip – Joe Flacco is meeting with a hip specialist this week, which likely means it will be the Lamar Jackson show once again vs. Atlanta. Since Jackson took them helm in Baltimore two weeks ago, the combo of him and Gus Edwards has rushed for a monstrous 423 yards. The Tandem should continue their success against a Falcons defense who ranks 25th against the run. Offensively, the once explosive Falcons’ offense has stalled out in the past three games, not once scoring over 19 points. Baltimore could easily win this game outright.

WAS Redskins (+6.5) at PHI Eagles (-6.5)

WAS Redskins WAS Redskins

PHI EaglesPHI Eagles

WAS Redskins+6.5| PHI Eagles-6.5

Tip – Even with their backup QB, the Redskins were in their Thanksgiving game for three quarters, until they let Amari Cooper slip by them for a big catch and run. The Eagles, on the other hand, struggled mightily in the first half of their week 12 game, only to outscore the Giants 14-3 in the second half. These two division rivals will be fighting for what is likely a singular playoff spot in the NFC East. Philly must keep Josh Adams involved in the run game to come out victorious. Adams has averaged over 6.7 ypc in three of his last four games, and faces a Redskins defense that surrendered 121 yards on the ground to Zeke Elliot a week ago. While the Eagles may win, and they may push the spread to the brink, as they’ve only won one game this season by more than 6.5 points. The skins offense (in their second week with Colt McCoy under center) should keep the game close enough to take Washington with the points.
