Liverpool vs Huddersfield: Predictions, Betting Tips & Odds
Friday, April 26th, 2019 @3:00 pm
Liverpool welcome Huddersfield to Anfield on Friday night for their week 36 Premier League tie.
Liverpool beat Cardiff 2-0 in the Premier League on Sunday and go into this fixture off the back on a run of nine wins in a row in all competitions. The Reds have lost just once in the league this season which was a 2-1 defeat away to Manchester City in January.
Huddersfield are rock bottom of the table and have already been relegated and have lost their last seven Premier League games in a row. They lost 2-1 at home to Watford on the weekend and head into this game with just three wins under the belt for the season. Two of those wins came against Wolves and the other was a 1-0 victory at home over Fulham.
Liverpool have a Champions League semi-final first leg with Barcelona coming up after this game with Huddersfield and there is a possibility that Coach Jurgen Klopp could rotate in some of his squad players for this one.
Huddersfield will be playing for pride and will want to put in a decent performance on what could be their last trip to Anfield for a while. They will want to fire some sort of a goal threat from somewhere as they have scored just five goals in their last seven games. A 2-0 win for Liverpool is well worth a shout.
A 2-0 win for Liverpool is available
Liverpool have won their last six meetings with Huddersfield both home and away, scoring 12 times while not conceding at all.
Total goals under 3.5
Huddersfield have nothing to play for while the Reds could have half an eye on their game with Barcelona and that could be why the bookies are offering odds for the under 3.5 goals scored market.
