World Champions France kick off the Nations Cup in style on Thursday with a mouth-watering tie against their World Cup predecessors Germany in Munich.
Both sides will come under the spotlight, but the pressure will be heavy on Germany as head coach Joachim Löw attempts to appease fans after a premature end to their Russian exploits.
There may be something of a World Cup hangover for the French as they head to Munich.
However, Didier Deschamps champions still visit Germany with the confidence of having won seven of the last eleven meetings between the two.
The pair last met in Germany in November 2017 and a 2-2 friendly draw was played out, but the German’s have the bit between their teeth this time and need a result.
Expect them to get it too with France still basking in the glory of their summer exploits and perhaps not quite fully ready for the game.
Germany to win on home-soil 2-1 win is a smart way to go here.
