Fulham welcome champions Manchester City to Craven Cottage hoping for a huge upset for them to take all three points.

Fulham look as though they are in lot of trouble. With just seven games left the West London club are 13 points from safety – which becomes effectively 14 due to their terrible goal difference. This is not the fixture caretaker manager Scott Parker would want at this stage of the season and an away win will be favourite with the bookies.

Manchester City now lie two points behind Liverpool but with a game in hand – and could go back to the top of the league with a win against Fulham in this early kick off. Three points will be expected by most sports betting sites and it would be a huge surprise if Pep Guardiola’s side came away from Fulham without the win.

Fulham have rarely been out of the bottom three this season and have only won four games in the entire campaign. It seems unlikely that the Cottagers will be able to turn this around now – but miracles can happen at this stage of the season and much will depend on the form of Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ryan Babbel.

Manchester City have only lost one game since the turn of the year but that was a surprise defeat away at Newcastle so they should not be too complacent going into this one. That being said, if Sterling, Sane and Aguero are on form this could be a high scoring affair. City could win this 4-0.

Head to Head

Manchester City have really enjoyed this fixture in recent times and Fulham have not managed a win since 2009.

  • Fulham have lost the last seven successive matches – and have only won one of the last 11 in the league.
  • Manchester City have spread their goals around this season and still manage to have Sergio Aguero as the Premier League’s top goalscorer.
  • Fulham have kept the fewest clean sheets this season – they have only managed to keep out their opponents on two occasions all campaign.
  • Manchester City have scored four or more goals on six occasions this season in the Premier League alone – but they only managed three against Fulham when they played at the Etihad.
