Dallas Cowboys vs Seattle Seahawks: Predictions, Odds and Betting Tips

Century Link Field Stadium
Dallas looks to pick up where they left off a week ago, while Seattle will be gunning for their first victory of the season.
Seattle may very well be on their way into the abyss of the NFL. A team that lacks stardom throughout their roster, apart from QB Russell Wilson, no longer has the pieces around their franchise signal caller to compete with the upper esculent of the league. However, some of their more effective players aren’t being put to good use. Running back Chris Carson (5.8 ypc on 13 carries this season) wasn’t given a single carry in week 2, because he was “gassed from playing special teams”. Seattle opted to hand the ball to Rashaad Penny and Mike Davis who combined for a pitiful 2.0 ypc. Dallas should swallow up Seattle runners, as they only surrendered 28 yards rushing to Giants stud rookie Saquon Barkley a week ago.
When the run game fails, Seattle will put the ball into the hands of their Superman, Russell Wilson. Wilson is too good not to produce, and will rack up yards against a secondary that still has some question marks to be answered. The loss of number 1 wideout Doug Baldwin (out with injury), will dwindle the amount of success.
Seattle’s o-line has given up a league-best 12 sacks this season. Look for Dallas’ pass rushers, led by DeMarcus Lawrence, to get after Wilson all day. All while keeping the time of possession on their side, running their offense through Zeke Elliot and on their way to victory.
Score prediction: Cowboys 20-19
While Dallas doesn’t have a roster to ride home about themselves, Seattle, especially without Doug Baldwin, doesn’t posses enough talent to stay with Dallas. As long as Dallas sticks to their winning formula. Using Zeke as their focal point, and going play-action off their run heavy offense, should allow them to connect on one or two deep passes against the extinct “legion of boom” allowing the ‘Boys to escape Seattle with a victory.
Seattle lacks the explosiveness to score in bunches, while Dallas prefers to slow the game pace down and focus on the run. Look for a low scoring event between two teams lacking firepower.
