Stamford Bridge Stadium
Huddersfield have turned to Jan Siewert to help improve their fortunes but a trip to Chelsea may prove too tall an order for the Premier League’s bottom side.
It has been a good few days outside the Premier League for Maurizio Sarri’s Chelsea.
Talk of internal unrest has been brushed aside as nothing quite galvanises a squad such as reaching a cup final and progressing deeper in the FA Cup all in the space of a matter of days.
However, it remains clear that perhaps Sarri still has some work to do in order to endear himself to the entire playing staff and fans as has the seemingly wantaway star man Eden Hazard.
For Huddersfield it is a different story. Despite sitting rock bottom there is an air of calm at the club even though the man who took them to the promised land has now left.
In has come David Wagner version two, Jan Siewert although even he must know that surely survival is nigh on impossible as is causing an upset at the Bridge.
That is because the Terriers have not won a game in any competition since November and seem resigned to their fate.
Expect the Blues to put on a show at home and make it back to back 3-0 wins over Huddersfield Town.
Chelsea to win 3-0
The Blues have only conceded two goals at home in their last four games in all competitions whilst the Terriers have only scored 8 on the road all season and lost 3-0 to Chelsea on home soil making this the best bet with top betting sites for match outcome value.
Chelsea to win both halves
Huddersfield has lost both halves in three of their last five Premier League matches and look a good bet with popular sportsbooks to make is four from six against a rejuvenated Chelsea.

Head To Head
Remarkably, Huddersfield Town have never lost at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League.
Admittedly, they have only played one fixture there to date, a 1-1 achieved in May 2018 and looking further back the ball lies firmly in Chelsea’s court.
Already the Blues have recorded a comfortable 3-0 win over the Terriers in the league this season and have only lost once to the Yorkshire club since 1964.
Overall, Chelsea have recorded 30 wins over Huddersfield with the Terriers winning 27 and a total of 10 draws.
- No side has lost more games in the Premier League this season than Huddersfield.
- October 1999 was the last time Huddersfield recorded a victory over Chelsea winning 1-0 at Stamford Bridge in the League Cup.
- Chelsea won the first ever meeting between the pair 2-0 during a 1911 Division Two contest.
- Only Liverpool have conceded fewer goals than Chelsea on home soil this season.
- Only Cardiff have scored fewer goals on the road this season than Huddersfield’s eight.
