Amex Stadium, Falmer
One game is all that stands in the way of Manchester City securing back to back Premier League titles, but Brighton have proved they are capable of causing sides a few headaches.
The scenario for the Manchester City is simple – win and they are Premier League champions for a fourth time and all that stands in their way is a Brighton side who spent much of the campaign flirting with relegation.
However, do not make the mistake of thinking this is a foregone conclusion.
Yes, City come into the game as overwhelming favourites with popular sportsbooks to get the job done despite being away from home, but the Seagulls are no fools and the likes of Manchester United, Wolves and Everton have felt the full force of Chris Hughton’s Brighton at the Amex this season.
That said, the Seagulls only just secured another season of Premier League football and their recent record is pretty dismal.
No win in nine in the all competitions for Hughton’s side and in that run was the FA Cup semi-final loss to City to boot, whilst the Citizens are on a 13-game unbeaten run in the league, making it impossible not to back them for the win.
However, with safety secured, Brighton can play without pressure, leaving City with a nervy finish to the season and another narrow 1-0 win to match the victory over Leicester on Monday night as they claim the Premier League trophy again.
Man City to win to nil
Brighton have not won a home game since March 2 and have failed to score in three of their last four games at the Amex, making this bet at evens one of the best with famous online betting sites for value.
Under 2.5 goals
Manchester City have only scored over two goals in an away game once in their last five outings whilst Brighton have only scored 18 at home all season (the third lowest in the league).

Head to Head
The pair met as recently as April at Wembley for the semi-final of the FA Cup. Gabriel Jesus snatched the winner for City in a tepid 1-0 victory.
City also took the spoils earlier in the season at the Etihad Stadium in a 2-0 win back in September whilst you have to go back to 1989 for the last time the Seagulls claimed a league victory over the Citizens.
Overall, Brighton have claimed five victories over City with the Manchester club recording 12 wins and a total of four draws.
- Manchester City will win the Premier League title if they collect the three points.
- Brighton can still finish above Southampton in 16th but must win to do so.
- Manchester City’s Sergio Agüero is two goals behind Liverpool’s Mo Salah in the race for the golden boot.
- City won 5-1 when the sides first met in a 1924 FA Cup tie.
