Wimbledon Tennis 2018 – Week 1 in Review & Odds Update

Wimbledon Tennis 2018 Week 1

Roger Federer won 35 consecutive service points at Wimbledon on the first Wednesday — yes, that’s correct, 35 points unbroken in a row — as a Centre Court spectator cheered Federer, wearing a shirt that read, “PeRFect.”

It’s true – The Swiss greatest-tennis-player-of-all-time comes pretty close to living up to that ‘perfect’ moniker at times.

Federer moved effortlessly into the third round at Wimbledon as he chases a record ninth championship, all of which comes just one month shy of his 37th birthday. Incredible.

Other than Andy Murray pulling out of the first round due to injury, the script in the Men’s Wimbledon Draw is going to plan.

Australia’s Nick Kyrgios, Croatia’s Marian Cilic and the omnipresent Nadal and Djokovic have all impressed during the first week.
