 ACT Brumbies

brumbies rugby

Super Rugby 2018 Championship Odds: $101.00

Coming Matches:

The Brumbies host the Reds in Canberra on Saturday, having lost all three of their Australian derbies this season, a record that has the Brumbies walking the tightrope of missing the finals for the first time since 2012.

The Brumbies pack has been bolstered with the return of Davis Pocock and Scott Sio since the 18-10 Reds defeat in Round 3 and you would think they should record a home win.

Queensland Reds

Super Rugby 2018 Championship Odds: $67.00

Coming Matches:

  • 7 April – vs Brumbies in Canberra – Reds Win Odds $2.30
  • 14 April – vs Waratahs in Sydney

Two away matches to other Australian franchises (the Brumbies and the Waratahs) will test Brad Thorn’s young team of over-achievers in Weeks 8 and 9. A tough fortnight ahead for the Reds but playing against NSW always brings out the best in them. The Reds could upset a travel weary Waratahs unit in Week 9.

NSW Waratahs

Super Rugby 2018 Championship Odds: $15.00

Coming Matches:

The Waratahs got their grove back at home in Sydney and are looking to take that form on the road. They took it as far as Canberra last weekend and walked away from the Brumbies home ground with a hard fought 24-17 win. They should continue that good form in Tokyo against the Sunwolves before returning home to take on the Reds in the ‘State-of-the-Union’.

Melbourne Rebels

Melbourne rebels

Super Rugby 2018 Championship Odds: $21.00

Coming Matches:

  • Week 8 Bye
  • 14 April  – vs Jaguares in Melbourne

The Rebels were brought back down-to-earth by the Super Rugby tournament favourites, the Wellington Hurricanes on the Easter weekend. They will learn a lot from the experience and they’ll be better for it for their next game and should smash the Jaguares at home at AAMI Park.
