State of Origin Game 3 – Tips, Preview & Odds
State-of-Origin – Game 3 Odds – July 11 2018
Last month in Sydney, New South Wales (NSW) broke the drought since their last State of Origin series win over the Queensland Maroons (QLD).
However, there’s no such thing as a dead rubber in State of Origin. The NSW Blues may well have wrapped up the Origin series in two games, however, both sides have plenty to play for on Wednesday night in Game 3 at Lang Park.
We look at all the ways to be excited and have your own big win in State of Origin Game 3 2018.
Farewell Billy Slater – Back him to Score a Try
QLD legend Billy Slater is unquestionably the greatest fullback of the State-of- Origin era. On Wednesday night, he’ll play his 31st and final Origin match before retirement and he’s been named captain.
Billy-The-Kid’s famous try when he gathered a Darren Lockyer kick, cut back in-field, chip-kicked over Anthony Minichiello and then regained possession to score, is the stuff of Origin legend.

NSW will attack and look towards entertaining the crowd
With less pressure on them to perform and brimming with strong, young and fleet-footed talent across the field, the NSW Blues will be hoping to put on a show for the Lang Park crowd.
We haven’t yet witnessed it at State of Origin level, however, Wednesday’s sold-out crowd may see Josh Addo-Carr in full flight.
On a traditionally dry and fast Lang Park track, expect to see a show from the Blues.
