Spring Carnival Caulfield

The Caulfield Cup shares the billing and forms the major double of the Melbourne’s Spring Carnival with the Melbourne Cup, and it’s a key lead up race for “the-race-that-stops-a-nation”. Run since 1879, the Caulfield Cup has produced some of the best and most memorable race wins and its been won by iconic and quality horses.

 

The 2018 Caulfield Cup is guaranteed to be as-big-as-ever, with many of the best local and international horses running in the great event, and the Melbourne Cup will be using the race to stretch their legs. This year’s Caulfield Cup is being run on Saturday 20 October 2018 and is preceding the W.S. Cox Plate on October 27, and of course, the Melbourne Cup on Tuesday, 6 November.
