NRL 2018 – Round 7 Games – Previews, Predictions & Tips
by Ken Edwards, 16 April 2018
Sydney Roosters vs Canterbury Bulldogs
ANZ Stadium – 19/04/2018
Tip – A battle of two sides moving in different directions. We tip the Roosters to tighten up their defensive frailties and record a win.
New Zealand Warriors vs St George-Illawarra Dragons
Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland – 20/04/2018
Tip – The Dragons take their power game to the home of the bone-crunching tackle in 2018, the Warriors home ground at Mount Smart. The Dragons won’t take a backward step and may just come away with the win.
Brisbane Broncos vs Melbourne Storm
Suncorp Stadium – Brisbane – 20/04/2018
Tip – In years gone by, this would be a top-of-the-table-clash. It’s certainly not now and that makes it much harder to pick. The Broncos to finally get one up over the Storm in Brisbane?
South Sydney Rabbitohs vs Canberra Raiders
Central Coast Stadium, Gosford – 21/04/2018
Tip – A toss up. Maybe the Rabbitohs on the back of the victory over the Roosters last week but a Raiders upset would not surprise.
West Tigers vs Newcastle Knights
Scully Park, Tamworth – 21/04/2018
Tip – The surprising Tigers to take it out over the Knights in the ‘bush’ in Tamworth.
North Queensland Cowboys vs Gold Coast Titans
1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville – 21/04/2018
Tip – Surely the Cowboys will come good? The Cowboys are suffering and not winning in Townsville will make it difficult to make a finals run this year.
Parramatta Eels vs Manly Sea Eagles
ANZ Stadium – 22/04/2018
Tip – The Eels simply must win. They can’t afford not to. Lose and their season and their coach will be gone.
Cronulla Sharks vs Penrith Panthers
Shark Park, Cronulla – 22/04/2018
Tip – The Panthers to continue their winning ways against the injury-plagued Sharks, who maybe without 5 (Gallen, Graham, Lewis and Fifita all injured and Matt Prior on report) of their starting 6 forwards for this match.
