NRL 2018 – Round 6 Games – Previews, Predictions & Tips
by Ken Edwards, 09 April 2018
Sydney Roosters vs South Sydney Rabbitohs – 12/04/2018
Tip – Cooper Cronk and Luke Keary are beginning to gel and the Roosters are beginning look like a side that started the season as outright Premiership favourites. Too good for the Bunnies.
Melbourne Storm vs Newcastle Knights – 13/04/2018
Tip – The Storm deserve to be favourites for this one and you’d think the AAMI Park home base will get them a win but the Knights are afraid of no-one this year. The Storm….just….
St George-Illawarra Dragons vs Cronulla Sharks – 13/04/2018
Tip – The Dragons to beat the Sharks in a close one.
NZ Warriors vs Brisbane Broncos – 14/04/2018
Tip – Form suggests that this match could see the Warriors flexing some New Zealand muscle over the Broncos in this one.
North Queensland Cowboys vs Canterbury Bulldogs – 14/04/2018
Tip – The Cowboys should make an overdue return to the winners list at home in Townsville with a win over the disastrously disappointing Bulldogs.
Canberra Raiders vs Parramatta Eels – 14/04/2018
Tip – The Raiders responded to coach Ricky Stuart’s call to show some respect for their jersey last week with the Raiders defeat of the Bulldogs. The Eels should be the recipients of some more tough Raiders love this week.
Penrith Panthers vs Gold Coast Titans – 15/04/2018
Tip – As much as I love the wholehearted Titans efforts and their propensity to trigger Sunday afternoon upsets, it won’t happen this week. The Panthers will be too good at home.
Manly Sea Eagles vs West Tigers – 15/04/2018
Tip – Surely, we have to tip one upset a week and this match is our tip for upset of the week. Ivan Cleary is shaping a good young side and they will not be afraid of this trip to the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
