Melbourne Storm ($1.52) vs St George-Illawarra Dragons ($2.55)

AAMI Park, Melbourne – 05/07/2018

Tip – With both sides missing their State of Origin stars it could be a virtual toss up to decide this critical Top 8 eight tussle. Fortunately for the Storm, they have an old, wise head by the name of Cameron Smith to guide them around the park.

The Storm should win it and no doubt, coach Craig Bellamy is loving having Cameron Smith available for the first time at this period of the season in over 15 years.

Penrith Panthers ($2.00) vs New Zealand Warriors ($1.81)

Panthers Stadium, Penrith – 06/07/2018

Tip – With club success comes a down side. The Panthers have many players involved in Origin and unlike the Brisbane Broncos, North Queensland Cowboys or Melbourne Storm, they are not familiar with the situation.

We don’t think the Panthers will cope and that the Warriors will walk away from Panthers Stadium with the win and the 4 competition points.

Canterbury Bulldogs ($2.20) vs Canberra Raiders ($1.68)

Belmore Sports Ground – 07/07/2018

Tip – The Bulldogs returned ‘home’ to their old ground at Belmore a few weeks ago and got absolutely pounded by the Gold Coast Titans for their trouble.

The Raiders travel to Belmore this week and we expect them to blow the Bulldogs away much like the Titans did.

Canberra by plenty.

Gold Coast Titans ($2.50) vs Brisbane Broncos ($1.54)

Cbus Super Stadium, Gold Coast – 08/07/2018

Tip – Usually, a Titans – Broncos SE QLD derby match is held at Lang Park in Brisbane, however, in an Origin lead-up week, it’s a different ball game at a different stadium, at home for the Gold Coast.

With both sides missing crucial players, it’s a betting nightmare.

That being the case, why not take the good odds on offer with Betstar for a Titans upset?
