NRL 2018 – Round 15 Preview – Odds, Predictions & Tips
Parramatta Eels ($3.40) vs South Sydney Rabbitohs ($1.32)
ANZ Stadium, Sydney – 14/06/2018
Tip – It would be a serious shock if by some extraordinary chance the Eels managed a win. Souths to pour more pain on Parramatta’s dreadful season.
North Queensland Cowboys ($1.78) vs New Zealand Warriors ($2.05)
1300SMILES Stadium, Townsville – 15/06/2018
Tip – Could the bookies have this one right and the Cowboys to win in Townsville? Maybe so, the extra heat may disturb the Warriors, but it could be a tight one.
Sydney Roosters ($2.10) vs Penrith Panthers ($1.75)
Allianz Stadium, Sydney – 15/06/2018
Tip – Befitting of its status of match of the round, both sides are chock full of talent and in good form. I wonder if Cooper Cronk being free from Origin duties may tip the scales in the Roosters favour? Your call, it’ll go to the wire.
Canterbury Bulldogs ($1.82) vs Gold Coast Titans ($2.00)
Belmore Sports Ground – 16/06/2018
Tip – This match is an absolute toss-up. We’ll tip the Bulldogs only because they have chosen to take this fixture to their spiritual home ground from the 80’s at Belmore.
St George-Illawarra Dragons ($1.40) vs Manly Sea Eagles ($3.00)
WIN Stadium, Wollongong – 16/06/2018
Tip – Manly are a better team than the one being quoted at $3.00 for this match. Could those generous odds on offer be worth tipping the upset Eagles win? No, probably not.
Cronulla Sharks ($1.58) vs Brisbane Broncos ($2.40)
Shark Park, Cronulla – 16/06/2018
Tip – The impressive Sharks catch the Broncos during their traditional ‘wobbly’ Origin period and should win to delight the Shire faithful.
Newcastle Knights ($3.60) vs Melbourne Storm ($1.30)
Newcastle International Sports Centre – 17/06/2018
Tip – Newcastle upset the Storm earlier in the season albeit with the now injured Mitchell Pearce in their team. It couldn’t happen again? Could it?
West Tigers ($1.63) vs Canberra Raiders ($2.30)
Campbelltown Stadium – 17/06/2018
Tip – In some ways, this is the most difficult match of the round to pick. Simplifying it, it’s at Campbelltown – West Tigers to win (by a whisker).
