NBA Odds By 22 Bet NY Knicks at MIL Bucks NY Knicks Monday 10/22 8:00 pm ET BMO Harris Bradley Center MIL Bucks Odds to be updated Bet with 22Bet Tip – The Bucks, as a team, are off to a strong 2-0 start, and the Greek Freak is off to an even more impressive start, averaging 25.5-16.5-6.5. They most recently defeated the Indiana Pacers by 17, thanks to stellar play from point guard Eric Bledsoe, who finished with a plus 17 in BPM. As I’m writing this, the Knicks have already surrendered a 12 point 10 rebound stat line to Boston’s Jayson Tatum and it’s only halftime. Tatum is an impressive young talent, but Giannis is on another level. Look for Antentokounmpo to take control early, getting to the hole at will, which will lead to Knicks defenders leaving the arc to help defend the driving lines. This will leave an impressive 3-point shooting Bucks team with open looks. ORL Magic at BOS Celtics ORL Magic Monday 10/27 7:30 pm ET TD Garden BOS Celtics Odds to be updated Bet with 22Bet Tip – The Celtics followed up an impressive opening night victory vs. Philly with a disappointing loss to Kawhi Leonard and his Raptors. Gordon Hayward is clearly not yet back to his pre-injury form, averaging a messy 12 points per game, and most recently, inactive on Saturday night to rest his ankle. Whether Hayward plays or not, Boston shouldn’t have many struggles with a bottom-feeding Magic’s team. Orlando lacks a second scoring option behind Aaron Gordon, who isn’t too consistent himself. Expect Kyrie to have his first huge game of the year while being guarded by the under-sized DJ Augustin, who won’t be able to keep up with one of the league’s top finishers at the rim. CHI Bulls at DAL Mavericks CHI Bulls Monday 10/22 8:30 pm ET American Airlines Center DAL Mavericks Odds to be updated Bet with 22Bet Tip – The Mavs promising backcourt has flashed, but with Harrison Barnes yet to suit up this season, it leaves Dallas without a true legitimate first option offensively. Speaking of first scoring options, Zach LaVine has taken that role and run with it for Chicago. Look for Chicago’s big men to stretch the defense, and pull DeAndre Jordan out from the paint, opening driving lanes for the slashing LaVine. This should be a close game between two rebuilding units, but if Barnes can’t go once again, I’ll give the slight edge to Chicago. PHX Suns at GS Warriors PHX Suns Monday 10/22 10:30 pm ET Oracle Arena GS Warriors Odds to be updated Bet with 22Bet Tip – Phoenix posses some young talent mixed with veteran placeholders on their rebuilding rosters. The combination looked great on opening night when they defeated Dallas by 21 points. They got 35 points from young stud Devin Booker, while Trevor Ariza, the elder statesmen, added 21 points of his own. That’s all fine and dandy, but lets be honest, this game will only be a contest if Golden State wants it to be. After 3 tough matchups to start the season, the Warriors might take it easy on Monday night, but the Warriors at 70% should be enough to firmly handle the Suns. SA Spurs at LA Lakers SA Spurs Monday 10/22 10:30 pm ET Staples Center LA Lakers Odds to be updated Bet with 22Bet Tip – The Lakers are still figuring it out, and it will take some time, but in the meantime, LeBron alone is enough to keep them in any game. The Spurs have been their usual steady self, relying on vets to consistently get the job done. DeMar DeRozan was impressive in his opening game as a Spur, finishing with a 28-4-4 line. Expect Lance Stephenson to play more than the 16 minutes he did in the opener. His perimeter defense will be needed to help contain DeRozan, while keeping LeBron fresh to do his work offensively. This is an intriguing matchup, but the Spurs should pull off the victory, despite LeBron’s stardom, as they are simply the more refined team at the moment.
