St Kilda Saints vs Brisbane Lions – 24 March 2018

Tip – Saints ($1.29) too good for the Lions ($3.75)

The young Lions are on the improve. They may stay with the Saints until half-time. Expect the Saints to pull away and win at home.

Port Adelaide Power vs Fremantle Dockers – 24 March 2018

Tip – Power ($1.26) to crush the Dockers ($4.00)

Sometimes the Power can go missing-in-action and underestimate lesser sides. Whilst a Dockers upset would not surprise at all, the Power should prevail.

Gold Coast Suns vs North Melbourne Kangaroos – 24 March 2018

Tip – Too close to call. Suns $1.83 vs Kangaroos $1.99

It could either way. The Suns are taking their young side to Cairns for their first home game and recent torrential rain will make Cazaly’s Stadium a quagmire. The Suns by a less than a goal, maybe.

Hawthorn Hawks vs Collingwood Magpies – 24 March 2018

Tip – Hawthorn ($1.88) to defeat the Magpies ($1.95)

60 000+ fans at the MCG are expected. Cyril Rioli is fit and has the ‘X factor’ to defeat the Magpies single-handed. Alternatively, the Magpies have vowed to be tougher in the big moments in 2018.

Greater Western Sydney Giants vs Western Bulldogs – 25 March 2018

Tip – GWS ($1.42) too much class for the Bulldogs ($2.95)

The Giants should be too good. The Bulldogs have many stars injured.

Melbourne Demons vs Geelong Cats – 25 March 2018

Tip – The Demons ($1.92) to defeat The Cats ($1.92)

We’ve decided to tip the Demons’ fleet of young midfielders to be too quick for the ageing Cats on the wide-open-spaces of the MCG in a close one.

West Coast Eagles vs Sydney Swans – 25 March 2018

Tip –The Eagles ($3.05) to upset The Swans ($1.40)

Western Australians will flock to the opening AFL match at Perth’s new Optus Stadium. We’re tipping the young Eagles to ride a wave-of-emotion and the rabid support of 60 000 parochial fans to upset the Swans.
