AFL 2018 – Round 7 Preview – Odds, Predictions & Tips

Odds by

Kardinia Park, Geelong  – 04/05/2018

Geelong Cats ($1.65) vs GWS Giants ($2.20)

Tip – A win at the Cats would go some way to proving to disbelievers that GWS have what it takes to win an AFL flag. Not this week. Cats to win.

Mars Stadium, Ballarat – 05/05/2018

Western Bulldogs ($1.20) vs Gold Coast Suns ($4.50)

Tip – Ballarat is a long way from the Gold Coast. As bad as the Bulldogs have been, Ballarat could be too far away mentally for the Suns to win.

MCG – 05/05/2018

Hawthorn Hawks ($1.70) vs Essendon Bombers ($2.15)

Tip – The Hawks to blitz the Bombers at the MCG. The Bombers will be mentally deflated following the disappointing Anzac Day hiding to the Magpies.

 Optus Stadium, Perth – 05/05/2018

West Coast Eagles ($1.90) vs Port Adelaide Power ($1.90)

Tip – Despite the Power’s recent good record in Perth, expect the Eagles to get the better of this ding-dong Top 8 tussle.

SCG – 05/05/2018

Sydney Swans ($1.15) vs North Melbourne Kangaroos ($5.50)

Tip – The bookies have the Swans ridiculously short odds for the SCG clash with the Kangaroos. North Melbourne are one of the most improved teams in the AFL this season. Upset brewing?

Adelaide Oval – 05/05/2018

Adelaide Crows ($1.04) vs Carlton Blues ($11.00)

Tip – The Crows to whip the Blues by the proverbial cricket score.

MCG – 06/05/2018

Richmond Tigers ($1.18) vs Fremantle Dockers ($4.80)

Tip –The Dockers will come out hard at the Tigers, however, expect the Tigers to strangle the Dockers out of the contest before running away with it.

Etihad Stadium, Melbourne – 06/05/2018

St Kilda Saints ($3.45) vs Melbourne Demons ($1.31)

Tip – 2018’s two most frustrating sides go head-to-head at Docklands. Melbourne should get the 4 points, but with these two unpredictable teams, who really knows?

The Gabba, Brisbane – 06/05/2018

Brisbane Lions ($3.00) vs Collingwood Magpies ($1.38)

Tip – Can the Lions spring an upset over an unsuspecting Magpies on a sultry, humid Brisbane Sunday afternoon? Weirder things have happened, but surely not to the Magpies this week.
