AFL 2018 – Round 6 Preview – Odds, Predictions & Tips
Western Bulldogs vs Carlton Blues
Etihad Stadium, Melbourne – 27/04/2018
Tip – A toss-up. The Bulldogs could be the slightly ‘least bad’ side in this contest Given the Blues injury concerns, the Bulldogs to scrape home.
Geelong Cats vs Sydney Swans
Kardinia Park, Geelong – 28/04/2018
Tip – The Cats are good at home, however, are they good enough to beat the choking Swans defence? Possibly not, but a cracking match anticipated.
North Melbourne Kangaroos vs Port Adelaide Power
Etihad Stadium, Melbourne – 28/04/2018
Tip – We believe that the match will be much closer than the odds indicate, however, Port should manage to get the 4 points over the Kangaroos.
GWS Giants vs Brisbane Lions
Spotless Stadium, Homebush – 28/04/2018
Tip – The classy Giants to trounce the Brisbane Lions.
Hawthorn Hawks vs St Kilda Saints
UTAS Stadium, Launceston – 28/04/2018
Tip – If the Saints get within 50 points of the Hawks in Launceston, we’ll be surprised. Speaking of 50 – that’s how many touches Hawks ball-magnet Tom Mitchell will possibly gather in this one.
Adelaide Crows vs Gold Coast Suns
Adelaide Oval – 28/04/2018
Tip – At $8.00, the Suns are very nearly worth a bet against the Crows. I’m kidding. They might get within 5 goals of the Crows but it’s unlikely.
Essendon Bombers vs Melbourne Demons
Etihad Stadium, Melbourne – 29/04/2018
Tip – This is the match of the round (with deference to the Magpies & Tigers). We like the Bombers to get home against the Dees in a tight game.
Fremantle Dockers vs West Coast Eagles
Optus Stadium, Perth – 24/04/2018
Tip – The West Coast Eagles to dismantle the Dockers in the first WA derby match of the year.
Collingwood Magpies vs Richmond Tigers
Tip – The Tigers defence to suffocate the Magpies at the ‘G’. A full-house expected, and no side has bigger and louder support than the Tigers unbelievable 91 000 members!
